DESCRIPTION:Launchpad empowers women who wish to rebuild their confidence\, develop professional skills & re-enter the workforce. \n\n\nLudgate and Cork ETB bring you a programme to launch your career comeback. \nLudgate’s Launchpad Female Returnee Programme is back for 2023 to support women in West Cork who wish to return to work and take the next steps in their career journey. This will be done through a bespoke programme designed to develop appropriate professional skills\, improve digital literacy\, rebuild career confidence and ultimately support you to re-enter the workforce. \nOver 12 weeks\, Launchpad delivers tailored reskilling\, coaching and mentoring programme for women who are ready to get back to their careers. The content is designed for the specific challenges faced by women returnees in rural areas of Ireland. \n\n\n\n\nCourse Modules\nThis programme will concentrate on a range of modules which are designed to make your journey back to the workforce as seamless as possible\, including: \n\n\n\nDigital Skills – Microsoft Office Suite & Google (Drive\, Docs & Sheets)\nCV building and Interview skills\nMarketing techniques\nMotivation and Goal-setting\nCareer planning and Communication\nPersonal branding and Social media\nNetworking and navigating the rural / remote jobs landscapes\nFurther training and start your own business taster\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCourse Duration\nThis12 week course runs from September to December 2023. Each workshop is on Thursday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. \n\n\n\n\nApplications\nWe are taking applications from May 16th until Friday 29th July. \n\n\n\n\nLast Years Programme\nReIgnite was Launchpad’s 2022 pilot programme. 14 women took part in the 3 month coaching\, reskilling and mentoring course . Ludgate was delighted with the success of the programme\, which received positive feedback from the participants and the wider business community. Since completing the course\, many of the women have returned to work\, identified further training opportunities\, or started their own business. \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\nThe programme is open to everyone.
